What is CROSSTIX?
Crosstix is a performing ensemble for kids ages 8-16. It’s purpose is to give kids in the Omaha area an opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform with members of OSP. No percussion experience is necessary. Crosstix operates as its own entity, performing original material written and instructed by members of OSP. Similar to OSP, Crosstix performs using recycled items as percussive instruments such as trash cans, buckets, pots/pans, and a variety of other unique items. Students will be given multiple opportunities to perform their show for friends and family in a variety of settings. As a member of Crosstix, you will truly feel like a rockstar!

Time Commitment?
Rehearsals will be on Saturdays mornings. (see detailed schedule for specific dates and time) The season will be April 6th and run through the month of July. We understand you may encounter conflicts on certain dates. We want you to know that we’re not expecting everyone to be at 100% of all rehearsals or shows. However, If you believe you will need to miss more than two rehearsals or shows, then Crosstix may not be a best fit for you and your child this year. See detailed schedule below.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the 2024 season will be $240. It will be billed in 4 installments $60, spread out over the season. The first installment will be paid during registration.

Absolutely! Crosstix if for kids of all talented levels and musical experience.
We are open to parents sitting in during rehearsals as spectators only. We ask that you allow your child the independence to work with us and with other students. We will not allow parents to give instruction or to interfere in any way during rehearsals.
No, Your first installment of $60 will be paid during registration. There will be 3 more installments scheduled throughout the season, about 3-4 weeks apart. These installments will be billed via email and can be paid by either credit/debit card or PayPal.
We understand that summer time is a very busy time for everyone. In order to have a quality experience, it’s important that your child attends the majority of rehearsals and shows. If you think you will miss more than two rehearsals and shows, then Crosstix may not be the best fit. Please list any dates that might be in question in the registration form provided.
